Backpacking So Cal

This was a spontaneous 4 day backpacking trip, with my Brother, Shawn, and Tonnderu. July 2022

It was truly a miraculous trip, and I would recommend everyone go backpacking at least once in their life.

We spent our time trekking up the mountain, not too far from Mammoth. Collecting freshwater from the streams, fishing trout out of the rivers, camping under the stars, and soaking in all the nature we could.

We hiked three days in and set up camp at the end of each day, it was actually surprising to me how steep one of the mountains was. There were switchbacks that went higher and higher and I was a bit nervous of falling off the edge of the cliff, but after doing Angel’s landing in Utah everything else is a breeze.
