8th realm

(work in progress - new chapter Sundays (CH 7 July 9th)

Dedicated to everyone out there working on a passion project
- Don’t give up -

Introduction:

There is a group of tiger’s sitting around a campfire.

An older tiger, white as snow, pulls out a pipe, and packs the end of it with a flower...

In ancient times…

back when Tiger’s used to smoke…

We were running through the grasslands, that’s what the locals called it, because it was land entirely covered in grass. The grass was massive, taller than all of us, but there was someone in our group, who knew how to navigate through it. You never wanted to get lost in the grasslands. There were Anacondas, that used it as their hunting grounds. “What are anacondas” Giant snakes that could swallow a person whole. We were making our way in the daytime, because we knew the snakes were nocturnal hunters and we could avoid some danger this way.

There were 6 of us headed to the Castle of the 7th realm, all of us had been summoned for a challenge of heroes. Don (1) was the first of us, he was human, that grew up in the village, he knew the way to the castle. Then there was White Lotus, a Snow Tiger, everyone called Lotus (2). The others were Dil, a Crocodile, known for his ferocity (3), The fourth was Maximus, another human, and an elite swordsman, his father was a knight of the 8th realm. The local witch, a sorceress in the village was invited as well, her name was Faith, she was the 5th. Last but not least, was Amalie, an Elf girl, from the river portion of our community. she was an excellent marksman with a bow & arrow (6). Each village was sending their 6 strongest warriors to represent their community at the challenge.

we were walking through the tall grass when….
Don, the navigator, had something stuck in his shoe, so we stopped for him to get it out. That’s when a giant net descended upon the group. Two of us, myself and & Faith, the sorceress, maneuvered out of the way to avoid capture & crouched in the bushes. Don told the creatures that there were two missing, but they didn’t care, they said the anacondas would get us. The other’s were dragged away in the net and we followed their trail closely, treading as light as we could. I had never seen these types of creatures before, and Faith said they were from the 8th realm.

We quickly realized that the 8th realm must be alerting the other towns to send their strongest recruits to head to their respective kingdoms, so they could capture them, and make it easy to take over the Towns one at a time.

The best time to overtake a kingdom, would be when the towns are weak, defenseless, and vulnerable to attack.

Faith and Lotus , discussed what to do, they needed to save the other’s and warn the town…
Lotus, “Faith, race back to town & I will rescue the others caught in the net.”

Faith, “you don’t want to work together & then head to town?
“ No, we can alert the town quicker and give them more notice to defend themselves if we split up & do both at the same time…”

so they went their separate ways…
Faith ran back to town and Lotus ran towards the snake den…

listener: “Snake den?!?”

Yes, the anaconda nest. It wasn’t far from where they were.

Lotus was at the entrance to the den, careful not to wake the snakes up. He was stepping over rocks, climbing over boulders looking for them, but it was hard to see through all the vines. His arm got caught on one, and when he pulled it, some stones fell from overhead. The sound echoed through the chamber, and then there was complete silence, the tiger’s breath stopped, and he held it long enough to see if he could hear anything besides the echo.

Nothing. Wait…What was that…It sounded like the flicker of a tongue. Sss…sss…he turned around and in front of him, was the biggest Anaconda he had ever seen. They made eye contact & he started running. The anaconda had already caught the tiger’s scent, so Lotus didn’t bother to look back and raced with all his might. His legs ran so fast, and were moving so quickly, that it looked like he was running on air. He darted across the grasslands, and was approaching the 8th realm militia. The snake was breathing down his neck. he could hear it just behind him, when he came upon an edge, but couldn’t stop, he was running too fast. He slid down the hill, just as the snake struck out at him, and it went soaring over his head, and directly into the encampment of the 8th realm.

It was a frenzy, there were creatures everywhere trying to fight off the anaconda. It was striking at everything, and anything it bit would go limp from one bite. The creatures were trying to surround it, and Lotus saw the others amidst the commotion. He immediately dashed over to them and cut them loose, and they all ducked off in the wake of the destruction.

They hurried back to town.

When they got there, the whole town was burned to ashes.

This was their home, all of their families, everything that they knew, was gone.

Chapter 2 DOn’t get lost in heaven.

Faith was telling the group how they must’ve ambushed the town as soon as we left, because it was burnt to the ground when she got back. We didn’t know what to do. The five of us had lost our entire lives that day, and now we were supposed to start a new one, with no time to process things. We decided it would be best for us to warn the king about what was happening.

The five of us were headed to the castle of the 7th realm. It would be a weeks journey to get there. We had lost most of our supplies, but we still had enough for all of us if we rationed things.

The first two days were supposed to be brutal, we had to head over a mountain ridge, where the terrain was absolutely killer. It was tough, steep, rocky, above the clouds and we were in a hurry.

We were following the stone path, when we came to a bridge. This bridge separated our district from the edge of the forest and the base of the mountain. Faith, the witch, Ran across with ease and the bridge barely moved, we all started heading across. After we made it to the other side, Dil cut the bridge, which bothered us all, because now there was no turning back. He said he did it so nobody could follow us. I thought it was good idea. We entered the forest, it was dense, and it didn’t allow any sun to penetrate the canopy.

The Forest was illuminated by these fluorescent mushrooms and moss growing all along the path, in the trees, all over the canopies. It was a glow in the dark forest. It was a comfortable walk. Faith, started saying, “My grandma used to tell me all about this forest, how I was never to go into it, because there were spirits here, that would steal your soul. Never look into the green eyes she would say” right as she said this behind her you could see two green eyes appear in the shadows, momentarily before disappearing. Amalie (elf) said, “my mom’s cousin went into the forest on a dare and had his soul snatched. He came back, but he was evil, acted normal at first, but his eyes would glow green at night, and he went around the village killing people in their sleep.

This time Maximus (swordsmen) said he saw some green eyes behind whoever was talking about the creatures when they said that, so the rest of the group decided to hurry on, and not take any breaks until they were out of the forest.

The group hastened their pace and marched through in silence. Lotus, “it’s so quiet…too quiet.” “There were no bugs chirping, there were no critters running around, no birds to be heard, there was no life down here.” now we were running through the glow in the dark forest, terrified. Most of us were in good shape, but it had started raining and the water was cascading through the canopy in a raging torrent.

The group needed to move to higher ground, we climbed the trees and began using the branches and limbs to continue moving through the forest. As we were bounding from tree to tree, we realized we were approaching the other edge of the forest and the base of the mountain; but we also recognized that we were now surrounded by green eyes in every direction.

Dil (crocodile) called out to the group to watch out, don’t look in any of their eyes, and then as he was passing Amalie (Elf) he grabbed her head and turned her to face a pair of green eyes and whispered “don’t open your eyes” and then let her go as she attempted to smack him.

He said he was only joking around.

The eyes now were floating figures with eyes, and bodies and faces, and we were protected by the water pouring all around us, it kept them from being able to get to close, and made it hard for the spirits to make eye contact, because it blocked us from being able to clearly see them, and the spirits from being able to clearly see us.

We made it to the end of the forest and clambered down the trees as fast as we could.

When we were climbing down a glow in the dark mushroom broke off a tree and fell down, sprouted some legs and started following us. It bonded with the Amalie, elves have always been one with nature.

Chapter 3:

We were tired, none of us had slept, and the rain never stopped pouring. We were drenched the entire time. We began our ascent up the rocky terrain. Maximus was in front and Lotus was last. There were steep steps, etched into the cliff face. The portions where the path had collapsed we had to jump across or clamber the cliff face to reach the next area. There was one section where Amalie almost fell to her death, but was caught by Faith’s staff.

Someone had fastened chains to the cliff face, to grab onto, in order to make it easier, but it was not easy. Amalie speaking, “As we were walking along we started to get to know each other more.We stopped in the center of a circle of stone statues. they were arranged as pillars all along the edges. we were taking a short break. we wanted to camp, but we couldn’t afford to stop, Maximus mentioned it, but ultimately we would go until we couldn’t go further. Dil divided up the rations and handed them out. They were sliced blue potatoes & exotic dragon berries which had a rich purple color, on a bed of nutri grains. everything to fuel us to be our at our strongest. We ate the food and continued on. It was perilous, but we handled everything with ease. We were the best of the best from our town, and we were working as a team.

We continued our ascent up the mountain, and despite none of us ever taking the path before, we felt like we knew exactly where to go and we all followed our instinct with what lay before us. It was already nightfall when we heard creatures in the walls. Different than the green eyed soulsnatchers. they weren’t talking to us, they were talking to each other and the whole mountain was creaking.

We didn’t let it bother us, until the mountain started to shake. It wouldn’t stop rumbling. Were we offending this sacred space? Suddenly the mushroom got sucked into the wall and it all stopped. The mountain walls stopped moving like water splashing. The fungi was gone, but the rest of us were okay.

Amalie was a bit distraught over her new friend, the mushroom’s disappearance, but the forest was calling it back.

We trekked all night and well into the morning past the sunrise, before we took our next break. We crossed over waterfall paths, and did whatever it took to get across. It was grueling in the dark, we only had glow-worms for lights.

Glow-worms are the best, because they never go dark, not even in the light. Sunlight supercharges them and you can use that stored energy later. Amazing creatures, you don’t have to feed them much, and they’re loyal forever. We each had a few, green, yellow, white, purple, and gold, illuminating the paths for us. They were about the size of a grain of rice, when dormant, but if you give them a drop of water, they grow to 1000 times their size, and can walk on their own, keep in ind a 1000 times their size is about the size of a small rodent.

It wasn’t a treacherous path, just demanding, long and grueling. We pushed ourselves by not taking any breaks only a sip of water here and there. we were on a mission to get to the kingdom to warn them of the 8th realm.

The sun was rising and everyone was spent, White Lotus thought it would be a good time for a break soon. He and Dil knew each other from the holy ground in the village, they crossed paths there before. Faith knew everyone, as the local witch sorceress in town, her and her aunt brewed all the potions for the townsepeople. Dil was friendly with all of us, but none of us were close to him, he lived in the swamp, so nobody really saw him too much, just knew of his abilities. Amalie, the elf, and Faith, the witch, were close. They could communicate telepathically. It was because they were operating on the same frequency. You could send messages, but anybody that could hear in your frequency would receive it too. So they shared a special bond. We kept going, onward and upward, slowly but surely helping each other keep pushing forward. Lotus & Maximus are the glue for everybody. Their the leaders holding the group together. Well respected, and highly revered. Maximus for his bravery and Lotus for his levelheadedness.

The group decided to stop, and take a break. It had been arduous thus far, and they were drained. There was a ledge for everyone to huddle together. We were sharing rations against the ledge when we heard a loud screech echoing up fro above. Not a moment later we were bombarded by pterodactyls. They were swooping down from both sides. Their talons were razor sharp, and long enough to pierce a man through his heart. One had swooped down and grabbed Amalies wrist and was pulling her towards the edge…Dil rushed over snapped the creatures foot off with his powerful jaw and freed her.

Her wrist was bleeding badly. Faith rushed over to her, and pulled out her knapsack with potions. Dil did his best to shield them from any oncoming attacks. Everyone else took up arms, The pterodactyls had a large advantage, they could swoop down at speeds that would haunt any normal creature and split them in half with just their beak. These were not your regular regular creatures. These were the strongest warriors of the village, Everyone had their own special talents. Maximus immediately started slicing and dicing these prehistoric creatures, with his finesse and power. Faith was pouring the potion of Amalies wrist, and it began regenerating instantaneously. Dil was punching the pterodactyls repeatedly with tremendous power, but they were relentless, they wouldn’t stop. Lotus noticed, that the group was defending themselves, but there was too many of the pterodactlys, he noticed they weren’t trying to kill us, and quickly realized that we were in their nesting area. We were disturbing their eggs. Which we hadn’t seen before. They were camouflaged into the rock walls. Covered by moss, mud, and stone, there was no way to have noticed before. Lotus yelled out to the group, to stop fighting and clear a path, so the pterodactyls could reach their eggs. Everyone quickly rushed off to the side, and the largest pterodactyl I’ve ever seen landed. It towered about 10 feet tall, most of these creatures were about 2-6 feet, and it screeched “thank you” to White Lotus, in the deepest voice I’ve ever heard. He nodded his head in acknowledgment, and we continued on our way.

It was like they knew each other. I was flabbergasted. Fortunately, we were able to fend them off with minor injuries, Faith’s healing worked perfectly for Amalie, and we continued up the mountainside.

Time was beginning to blend into the seems of the earth. we were almost in a delirium from all the travel with lack of rest. We had so much ground to cover so we kept on trekking. Step after step, forging a new path for today, into a brighter tomorrow, a future, where we could be proud of actually doing something to make a difference. What other choice did any of us have, to just sit around and wait to die, or to let the 8th realm take over the other kingdoms? No there was no time to sit around, or mourn or grieve our lost home, our lost families. We were put here to make a difference in this world, this was our legacy. We didn’t even have a choice, it’s not like we asked for this, this was the result of our circumstances, we were chosen. This was our destiny, this was our path that we were chosen to walk for society. We didn’t even realize we were heroes, legends in the making, you don’t realize everything that’s happening or taking place in your life while it’s happening, everything is clear in hindsight.

We finally made it to the top of the ridge, halfway through the 3rd day. There was an inn at the peak, nestled in between two of the biggest pine trees I had ever seen. They must’ve towered at least 100 feet tall.

After trekking day and night through the mountainous terrain, crossing rickety bridges, defeating deadly predators, and not sleeping for the past 3 days, the inn was a welcome paradise. An oasis in a desert mirage.

Chapter 4 Paradise Oasis

The group walks briskly up to the inn.

As the group entered, they were greeted by beautiful women, wearing robes of silk. The women’s faces were statuesque, polished like ivory, their beauty unrivaled. Their robes were sheer, and they were confident women.

The group was tired and worn out from the lack of rest.

Everyone seemed happy to have a chance to relax.

I couldn't’t stop thinking about everything that happened. All my life I’ve wanted change… for something to finally happen & it does. We got called to the castle of the 7th realm, only to realize that now my whole life is gone. I guess this is my new life. This is my life now….

Dil is going off to shower with a woman, Amalie is eating stew, Maximus is talking to some women, Faith is standing near Maximus & I am wondering what this place is doing in the middle of no where.

A lady walks in, the most beautiful woman I have ever seen, honey beige skin, emerald green eyes, jet black hair, I could feel a fire burning inside me, some sort of ethereal connection to this woman.

She was accompanying another woman. This women was the second most beautiful woman I had ever seen. With luscious locks of auburn hair cascading past her shoulders, beautiful full brown eyes, and voluptuous figure. She was still young, but you could tell she was the older of the two, and did not possess the enthralling beauty of the younger woman... She introduced herself, said how she is the madame of the inn, and that this is her establishment.

She did not introduce the younger woman.

I asked her how she came to be all the way out here. She said, “there aren’t a lot of travelers that need to take the mountain roads that lead to castle, but a lot of warriors do, and everyone that does, stops here, so I figured it was as good a place, as any, for weary travelers.

We give these people a place to stay, something to eat, a chance to warm up by the fire, and help them relax... At this point she was face to face and I could feel her breath on my lips as she whispered, "….if they like”

As I was talking to the madame, I could hear loud moans coming from the other rooms, sounds not of pain, but of pleasure.

The madame left us to ourselves, and told us to enjoy ourselves, there is a natural hot spring available, if you want to use it, and we offer treatments of all sorts for our guest, If you need anything, please let any of my lovely courtesans know.

Everyone seemed relaxed at this point. I noticed Amalie falling asleep by the stew. She must be so tired. We all were, we had such a long trip, with hardly any rest.

Faith appeared from the hallway, and was walking over to me. There was only few of us in the lounge. There was a gentleman sitting with two women by the fire, Amalie at the dining table, and me sitting at the bar counter. Faith said she had just walked by the rooms and both Dil & Max, were tied to the beds in their rooms asleep.

We both thought that was odd, so we went to check it out together. I went in the room, and sure enough Maximus was asleep. I untied him, while Faith went to the other room to untie Dil. We all exited the rooms, both of them were incoherent so we were doing our best to carry them out. The women were in the lounge again, asking us what we were doing, where we were going, what we needed.

They weren’t upset, angry, or threatening, they were acting the same way they had when we arrived friendly, and flirtatious. I told them, “thanks for the time, hospitality, and pleasure, but that we were weren’t going to stay after all.

We kept walking towards the door. I could feel my boots getting heavier, with each step, a loud thud behind me. I used all my strength to pick up my leg, and keep pushing forward. Another Loud Thud, another. I couldn’t lift my legs, my eyes were feeling heavy, I could barely see straight….nothing

I woke up tied up to a wall next to the others.

I don’t know how long I was awake for, it seemed like a lot of time had passed, but there was no way of knowing.

Then that beautiful woman showed up again, her eyes were bewitching, I could hold her gaze forever.

She said, that we had to hurry, there was an urgency in her voice, there is no time to waste I’m helping you all out of here.

She told us, we were drugged, the madame had been drugging men and shipping them off as prisoners for the 8th realm.

White Lotus thinking to himself - why is she helping us? Could she be trusted? We saw her with the lady that drugged us…she did untie us though & is helping us escape…

Why are you helping us? The words finally formed emerged from my mouth.

I have been wanting to escape for a long time, but I was afraid to do it alone. I saw you all, motioning her hand to all of us, as my chance to escape. I thought I could come with you all, and that we could get away as a group.

Lotus responded, “Where are you headed?”

Her, “Away from here…where are you headed?

To the 7th realm castle, we have to warn the kingdom about what’s happening….

Chapter 5: The road ahead

The road ahead is a long one. The journey arduous and grueling. None of us are truly battle tested. It feels like our lives are just beginning. Who know’s what’s to come.

We’ve been walking for a quarter moon now. Taking Turns sleeping & keeping watch. We have a few weapons, I’ve been practicing when I can, much like the others.

The beautiful woman is an enchantress, she knows how to make spells and potions, that’s how we were drugged and put to sleep. she was kidnapped at a young age & the madame raised her. I’m beginning to wonder if the madam will come looking for her, since she sees her like a daughter. She said the Madame has never aged. She looks the same as when she had first met her

We have almost run out of rations but we’re nearing the castle, it’s just past the enchanted forest.

The group is sitting around a fire discussing.
- Anybody have any ideas?
”what if the kingdom is in on it?”
”why would the kingdom be in on it?”
Maximus changes the subject, starts telling a story…

not too long ago, I remember seeing the king stand up to an army of ogres and he and the royal army protected the villages. There is no way he is in on it…

The following morning they reached the bottom of the mountain and came upon a riverbank

the riverbank was full of sand, there was a sign posted that said beware of quicksand. We formed a line and crossed the shallow bank with no issues. Finally we were fortunate to catch a break, it seemed like everything in this dimension posed a danger.

Chapter 6:

We were looking over the map. We were almost at the castle. We had to cross the grassy knoll, and the hollow caves and we were there. The group was emerging from the forest, we all shared a bond of life, death, and being a team.

The group came upon a grassy knoll. It was a steep hill with thick grass, that had a tree at the top with dragon fruits.

There were large plants scattered along the hillside, and bushes all around.

We were admiring the beauty of the tree, it looked glorious, almost angelic, atop of the hill.

Amalie grabs an arrow out of the air, before anyone realized what was happening. “RUN,” she shouted. It was about to hit Lotus square between the eyes. She saved his life.

It was the trolls, suddenly there was an onslaught of arrows coming from the trees. Everyone rushed to cover. The hills started to vibrate, the earth was shaking, the plants on the hills, they were alive!

The trolls were the plants!

Hidden in plain sight, waiting dormant, for travelers like us.

They were rushing towards us, we were pushing further and further back into the forest but they were closing in. We were being surrounded, so we kept running the only way we could. The trees were changing starting to look around us. Purple roots, purple bark. We could hear the trolls right behind us, crashing through the forest.

Amalie was in the front, we were single file at this point, pushing through the dense brush, there was tree in front of us, she touched it as she went around it, and it sucked her in. We all saw her disappear into the tree. Where did she go Faith yelled, we were still being chased, one by one we all went in. We were transported outside the kingdom’s gate.

Finally a stroke of good luck.

This was perfect because now we could alert the kingdom of what was happening, this is why we were here. Only the castle’s banner was different than ours. The moat was different. We weren’t transported to our kingdom, we were at the kingdom of the 5th realm.

We all knew the history of the different realms. How at one point, the 8 realms were one empire that lived in peace and harmony.

That was until the 8th realm decided it wanted to operate under its own conditions and rule itself. All the other realms followed suit, and that’s when they became individual kingdoms…

BOLD NEEDS TO BE EDITED

Chapter 7

We began to have a quick discussion, the group was not sure how the 5th Kingdom would feel about their being there, nor understand how they got there. Then the matter of the trolls, they could appear at anytime if they took the portal. We honestly didn’t have a choice. We were going have to let the 5th Realm King know everything, and hope that he is not on the side of the 8th realm.

The black panther appears, he snaps crocodiles jaw open, and then as they’re all fighting the Kingdom’s guards show up. The black panther gets away, but the group is apprehended by the 5th realm guards. The guards take the group, #2,4,5,6,7 to the king. He is troubled to hear the news that they share with him

He has his people escort us all to be cleaned and fed and that there would be a celebration later in honor of the new guests

He said they have portals in the dungeon we’ll send an owl to deliver the message to open the line so you can warn your king. The group went their separate ways, nobody had any weapons anymore

They were shown their bunking quarters

they were shown the dining hall, dinner would be served soon, but they would have time to get situated. They were welcome guests in the castle. Everyone felt safe.

Bathhouse. The men and the women were taken separately by persons, to their quarters, and everyone was lead to the same bathhouse. It was nude. There were dozens of folks in these different cascading pools, the water was reflecting the moonlight. There weren’t too many people left in the water. There were a few folks. White lotus was soaking in a tub, when a foxy number waded over to him and started talking to him. She was asking him questions about the group.

He avoided them, took one last dip, mentioned he was going to get ready for the dining hall, and left.

That left her and the monk, he was facing forward in a jacuzzi, where there was a waterfall behind. She came over to him, and wrapped her arms around his neck, he didn’t fight her. She squeezed tighter, put more pressure. Then she pulled him underwater in the chokehold, shifted her body, and wrapped her legs around his neck, and locked her legs. Nobody was around, he relaxed, and remained calm. A few seconds went bye she squeezed tighter. He felt the grip tightening, and then suddenly she relaxed her grip, swam underwater, grabbed his face in her hands, and kissed him. He was nearly out of breath. He thought wow, she could have killed me. She didn't.

The rest of the group was in their respective rooms getting ready for dinner. They got ready and headed to the dining hall.

The king was addressing the court regarding the message we shared about the kingdom, and how the 8th realm (Goblins) were trying to take over the other kingdoms. Black Panther Was standing next to him. He was mentioning how there is nothing to worry about as we have defenses in order to take care of situations like this. That was when the blank panther grabbed him from behind and slit his throat. His son called out to the militia to stop the panther and kill him, but he jumped out the window as he had a giant owl waiting for him to fly away.

The kingdom was in shambles and disarray

The group addressed the prince who was now the new king of the 5th realm, and he said he didn’t understand how this could be, the black panther had been my dad’s general since before I was born.
We were all distraught over what we had just witnessed, it meant that we no longer knew who could be trusted, and that the other kings were in danger too, because they may have people planted as enemies in their kingdoms.

CH 11 Another World

Meanwhile black panther was soaring with the owl

across the plains to reconnect with the 8th realm militia.

to give you a little backstory on the black panther. He was one of the fiercest in all the kingdoms. Known for his killer and ruthless instincts he never hesitated to kill.

Nobody knew where he came from just that he had wandered into the kingdom one day, and wanted to be a part of it… he challenged the strongest warriors from all the lands and dominated each of them in combat. He would become the general for my father and the leader of the army over time, through his commanding nature.

We are very fortunate that the army is on our side.

*Black panther arrives at the 8th realm and tells the kingdom what is happening.

The Dark magician is there with the Lord of the Land. They’re discussing the futures that the dark magician has seen take place.

there are two paths you can go down, but they are one in the same, it will depend on the choices you make

there is only two options the wrong and the right choice which really only leaves you with one choice

so it has to be the right one

i’ll pick the right door

open sesame

the group begins to enter there is a room full of repeating colors like a corridor of color and each color moved in unison the door reopened behind us we walked back out the doors were on the opposite side from before

they said hope you picked the right door in unison and laughed

i couldn’t help but laugh along and we departed to continue our adventure.

The group was feeling lighthearted despite everything that happened could feel us becoming something coming together as group at lest like something

there was strange writing on the floor in the rock tiles an ancient writing none of us could understand but it seemed to be of the utmost importance

we decided to take one of the smaller tablets and put it in our knapsack

The bounty hunters

there were a few outlaws looking for us as we now had a bounty on all of our heads, none of these places would be safe.

They were some of the deadliest creatures known in all the land

Part - I

“Salvadore” The serpent was known as one of the deadliest creatures in all the lands.

He grew up isolated in the plains of despair, a barren land full of criminals on the outskirts of society.

he did not understand the typical societal norms people followed, because he was never taught them. he lived outside the boundaries of courtesy & decency, and would rip out the heart of anyone that crossed him before the blink of an eye.

He was a rattlesnake with a dagger for a tail, that shined in the light, an iridescent color, that glimmered of death & destruction.

A cutthroat killer, that no one ever hoped to cross. It is said that he has been surrounded by over 20 creatures at the same time, and killed all of them without a scratch on him, before any of them could react. Stabbed each and every one of them in their hearts, before any of them could react.

Not part of the dark realm or the light. He was a bounty hunter for hire, and always got who he was after.

He could slither faster than almost everyone, and leap from tree to tree, by swinging along the branches, his strength only unmatched by his speed, and towered over all his opponents at 13 feet tall, a menacing figure.

Part - II

“Komoto” The dragon better known as “El Dragon”

Komoto grew up very differently than the slippery serpent Salvador. Komoto grew up on an island of peaceful dragons, not far off the coast of the mainland.

On the island the community was taught to respect all life, and they were trained to master their minds, bodies, and spirits, to be in control in all aspects, and to find a center true, and to follow that light.

Only Komoto, was different than the rest. He did his best to fit in, to be like the others, especially as a child, but as he grew older, so did the resentment he held for the community.

There was one dark and stormy night, where he went not every home on the island, and killed every other dragon on the island. Including the king and queen, he wiped out his entire species in one night killing over 100 of his kind. He took one of the rafts on the southern part of the island, and when he reached the mainland, he was already known throughout the 8th realm as one of the most vicious, heartless, ruthless, cutthroat killers around.

Part - III

Zeus.

In the legends of Gods, there is a story told of a monster that punished the gods, when they misbehaved or caused trouble. It’s name was Zeus, it had 3 heads, was extremely muscular and 6 arms, it was supposed to be the strongest creature in all the realms. Sheer power, and force. Not only physically, but mentally strong. No weaknesses, each face, clouded with a dark emptiness that could make a creature’s soul leave their body.

he was banished by the gods to the underworld, because of his brutality. Unfortunately, or fortunately for it, Zeus escaped from the depths of despairs and became a bounty hunter in the 8th realm.

Here he grew a reputation as the Brutal Beast that could tear a man in two, and steal souls from the strongest warriors.

These gruesome creatures, were part of the foursome foursome, the four bounty hunters known for their killer instincts and nature for disaster.

Part - IV

The Final Member

Formless, shapeless, amorphous, a nebula that lacked character, and any sort of decency.

She was cunning, a master of disguise & deception, capable of imitating anyone’s mannerisms.

She could be whoever she wanted to be. She could fool anyone, and thats how she usually brought in the outlaws, she was hired to hunt down. She would mislead them, trick them into believing she was someone they knew, or someone they would never suspect to attack them.

Gain their trust, then strike.

Attack while their back was turned, drug them, whatever it took to get the bounty.

She would never hesitate to kill a bounty either, if she knew there ew as a dead or alive reward. Even if they were worth more alive, she would always kill them, because it was easier to deal with a dead body, than a live bounty.

No one knew where she came from, how she got here, or if she could even be killed. In her natural form, she was a pinkish, opaque slime, that could slither and slide across any surface; walls, ceilings, you name it.

The truth was, she grew up in a monastery. High up in the mountains of Katmandee (kat-man-dee). It was a harsh environment, terribly cold in the winter, and freezing in the summer. The majority of the inhabitants, lived in the monastery, with a couple exceptions, their medicine man, and high priestess. They had these portable huts, that they used to survive on the mountainside, when they needed immediate shelter, most often used during their hunts. These huts optimized the living conditions and made it possible for this tiny society to thrive for thousands of years.

These people that lived up here, knew a different way of life, one that showed the a way of respect for nature. They were tough, because the elements showed them their strength.

When she arrived, she was a 1 foot tall pink slithering sludge, and was all alone, icicles frosted along her outer layers.

a child in the village stumbled upon her, and took her inside the hut by one of the fires, to defrost her. when she was defrosted they were surprised to see her moving. They named her Hope, because they thought she was a sign of an easier life to come. A blessing from the heavens.

Legend says that she has been alive for thousands of years, and that she still takes care of the entire village, with the money she collects from her bounties.

Providing a better life for her people, while hunting evildoers, despite being evil herself.

Suppose there are levels or different sources of evil. A greater & lesser, both of equal energy and power. The greater of the 2 evils will always be the one that hurts or destroys us & our livelihood, but it’s a matter of perspective, because one’s demise may mean the well being of another.

These were the 4 horseman of the apocalypse. The most cutthroat killers in all the land.
